Thought it would have lasted a bit longer but oh well. Happened only 2 weeks after a re tune with an 8psi actuator. Guess it couldn't handle the extra boost. Anyways to the point, probably going to find another 3540 to chuck on. About to get some quotes but what is a reasonable price for a second hand or new 3540 fitted (not including a tune). Any help is better then none. Car is a ba f6 had 330rwkw. Cheers

Yeh guessing it was oil starvation. Hadn't upgraded the oil line and started to hear the bearing noise when the car was switched off after running.

Proven power wise so far but haven't been out long enough to know reliability. 35/40's can be had for $700-800 generally in good nic, and the occasional one comes up a bit more or less. There was one for sale on facebook a couple of days ago for $1000 with ported housing and 12psi actuator. Not sure how much fitting is, but probably should look at doing an earls oil feed line at the same time so add another $200 for that installed 1

My tuner just quoted me 1400-1500 to put a new turbine in the existing housing all installed and put my basically new 8psi actuator on it aswell. Does that seem like a decent price or should I just put a whole new turbo on. He said it was a cheap/reliable option and shouldn't need a re tune that way.
