If you already have a tune it's a bad idea, if not no problems.

So if you fit an aftermarket inter-cooler and turbo side air box with a stock tune it is 'safe' to drive until tuned?

Should you at least get AFR's checked?

Sorry noob question but why upgrading say just the intercooler needs a tune??

I thought it was coz a larger cooler can hold more wasps inside, now I understand..! They don't nest there, they are produced by the turbo and can fly faster in the larger cooler. Black magic I tell you.

that's just the problem I bought it second hand, so not sure if it has been tuned or not, it has a boost gauge which reads about 10 PSI on full boost so I assume it has
