Massive Flat Spot After Changing Turbos

Hey everyone still new to xr6Ts

I picked my car up yesterday after having my turbo changed ( bent impellers)

I had another stock turbo put on

1st an 2nd gear pulled really hard an the when I'm in 3rd get to about 4000rpm it nose dives an theres no power , if I gradually build up the boost it sometimes gets to mayb 5000rpm an stops again

Same thing in 4th gear

Car is an 04 xr6t manual

Any ideas

Same actuator? Sounds like its dumping boost as the standard actuator may be stuffed. Just a guess, as most will say go see a tuner/mechanic

Yea it's got me stumped I thought someone might have an idea on what to do

sounds like it may be overboosting, but things need to be diagnosed correctly

I've been told it may be over boosting what cAn I do to prevent it from happening

I've got an xcal 3 not tuned to my car yet but I can still use it to get fault codes can't I , will that show up with anything

yes you can read fault codes

When I plug it in will it read that its over boosting or anything like that

2 fault codes have come up

P1227 wastegate failed closed ( over pressure )

P1507 idle air control (iac) under speed error

What do I need to do to clear these errors

Any help much appreciated

it's overboosting, the turbo is not exactly the same as the one removed, possibly just the actuator may be different or you have fitted the hoses incorrectly

The hoses look the same

Same actuator I'm pretty sure
