I installed the CA kit and never had any issues with the iphone5. I bought the whole kit but the modules popup on ebay from time to time.

You can identify the module by the last 2 letter of the part number.

avi8R sorry not too familiar with all this. Is this a diy method for fixing the bluetooth issues? Do you know the process of installing it or anything like that? not too sure what you mean by identifying my module? I gather that the module has to match the kit in the car?

It's easy to install. Take the top off the ICC and you will see the module. It's slides onto the back of the ICC.

Undo the screws I think it's 2 on top and 2 on bottom. Slide out and swap the module over. Just be careful with the ICC plug when reinserting it.

I think Ford will still have to match the new module to your car. About $80

Finally got the ICC updated (well the wife did)

I was told by 2 different Ford dealerships its going to cost me, My wife asks and she gets it done under warranty :-p

Although the guy told her 90% of issues is not the update its the battery dropping below x amount of Volts which does not make the bluetooth work with the phone to well or causes issues etc, so they stung us for a new battery ($150) which I specifically asked for a 600CCA battery as I hear the stock one is pretty average?? they said they will have a 540CCA I said ok fair enough, I get home and check it and its 620CCA lol go figure.

Anyway problem solved my Samsung S4 connected straight away and the Sound of the car audio system sounds better now (I have premium sound...already had the wires for the sub swapped around)

Down side is I cant confirm if new battery or updated ICC fixed the problem:p but its fixed the bluetooth issues.

Good outcome mate, with this update, when someone rings u, does their name display on the screen? Coz I have an S3 and an FG mk2 and I cant see who is ringing me. Im wondering if this update could fix the problem.

Just checked and it does shows who is ringing you both on my S4 and the wifes iPhone 4s.

Downside is the ICC stays on when you turn the car off :S does anyone know if there is a setting in the ICC to fix that?

Also the update I was given is not the latest update, mid 2012 update....fixed bluetooth issues though and the Navigation system is much more responsive.
