Hi guys just called ford yesterday and the guy said there was an update out for the icc to address glitches and bluetooth issues but only up to iOS 6 which came out 2 weeks ago. He said that it might fix some issues with connecting the iOS 7 iPhones but wasn't 100% sure. Just wondering if anyone has done this update and has noticed any improvements? Thanks.

yeah mate its manual. just happens during initial acceleration in first, but mostly second gear when your accelerating in a car park or something where your not going over 30 ks/h. Good to know at least I'm not the only one, thanks for the reply. noticed a Expensive Daewoo ute made a similar noise in a car park too the other day so must be similar to the fords gearbox.

HI guys quick question, does anyone else experience a shuttering noise from the engine when taking off in first (rarely) and also if you are going slower then usual and accelerating at low revs in second gear - for instance, in a car park? I have a 2012 xr6 fg ute. New to fords so not sure if it is common and if I should possibly be in first for longer rather then shift to second when going slightly slower then usual. Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

avi8R sorry not too familiar with all this. Is this a diy method for fixing the bluetooth issues? Do you know the process of installing it or anything like that? not too sure what you mean by identifying my module? I gather that the module has to match the kit in the car?

haha wow the guy I spoke to must have no idea! Yeah that would be awesome if you could let me know. Hopefully it fixes the problem.Where abouts did you ring? are you in Brisbane?

Hey mate gave them a call and apparently there is no update for the bluetooth which is hard to believe. They reckon that the iPhones are always a problem, although you shouldn't have that many issues with the samsung from what I've heard? Mine is pretty much unusable with my iPhone as it doesn't even connect at all, very annoying!

Hi guys I'm having some trouble finding information about getting a reverse camera installed on my 2012 xr6 fg mkii ute. It has the colour ICC screen and was hoping it could get wired through that but even a guy at ford said on the phone that they didn't think it could be done, rather I would have to get one that displays through my rear view mirror which I don't really want. So does anyone have any information about if it can actually be done and any places that install them into the ICC? I'm in Brisbane so places in my area would be ideal. Thanks.

I know this is an old topic but Boganspeed, do you remember where you bought the sensors from and got them installed? Am tossing up between the sensors or camera, but have been researching and from my understanding ford has to enable a setting or something and seems like it will be a huge mess around.

thanks everyone for your replies. It's such a pain, when I turn the key to accessories the bluetooth connects but when I start the engine it cuts out and connects again when I turn the engine off! Will call ford tomorrow. Thanks again

Hi guys I'm having issues with my bluetooth not staying connected in my 2012 xr6 ute. Just wondering if anyone knows the process of upgrading the firmware and the approximate price it will cost? Im in Brisbane. Will ring some ford dealers tomorrow but just thought I would ask on here too. I have an iPhone 5 version 7.0.4 (latest) if that helps. Thanks.

HI sorry if this has already been posted, I tried searching for it but couldn't find anything. My question is do you think it would be ideal replacing the air filter in my 2012 xr6 fg mk2 ute from stock or just leave it as is? Was hoping for some economy improvement but if they are barely noticeable then its probably not worth it. Thanks.
