On both occasions though, I was on the freeway at night, and my temperature gauge was literally half way between the "C" line and the first line...which is the coldest I have ever seen it run.I have noticed that the car does run much cooler ever since I by passed the transmission heat exchanger with a stand alone cooler.Would the colder temps make the car run leaner due to the higher air density?...and shouldn't the computer compensate by running richer?Or could my problem be something else?Any suggestions appreciated. Take it to Ford if you have warranty. Most people on here will say get a tune. I am one of those as you will not regret it. But I also say let Ford fix it under warranty if you have it. Cheep to check out and replace if necessary.
