is there an easy way to tell if the exhaust has had the debung/flowrate modification ? ive recently bought a ttg and not sure of its exact history

Mine had a small section about 3 inches long that had been cut out and re-welded to allow the bung to be removed. You might be able to see if there is any extra welds on the pipe that would suggest it has been taken out?

sorry to hijack the thread but does anyone know the tt cat sections the same as the xr6t ?

PS no need to cut the front pipes to get rid of the bung just get a piece of rio and knock it through from the outlet once the muffler is off the car
