Well - it was a good day - thanks HER-XRT and Upinder for coming along on this cruise and making it enjoyable :spoton: Good to hear HER your new turbo has definitely had its cobwebs shaken out :omg: and Upinder - so ya reckon ya coming on the snowies cruise later this year :roflmbo:

We all had a go at taking the lead ummm wasn't hard to do that with 3 cars :roflmbo: Weather was just right for turbos I reckon - cool but sunny and dry - roads dry in the mountains and hills where it counted and pretty clear of debris

You're right Adam - that back road around Lake Eildon gotta rank up there with some of the best - and the surface has settled alot - and the twisties just seemed to go on and on :drivingalong:

Summit of Mt Buller was memorable for me - waiting for RACV man meant I could take a hike up to the cairn on the summit and take in the 360 degree mountain views

I should have some pics up soon :beerchug:

Came back through Black Spur and it was surprisingly clear for a Sunday late arvo

Firstly a big thank you to Gary for organising yet another awesome cruise.

:bravo:

I will post my exact figures once I get home (if anyone is interested) but in all, I did over 8 hrs driving and clocked over 630km's. Average economy was 10.3 l/100 km...not bad considering the roads we were on. Got some great photos...had plenty of time at the top of Mount Buller. :ooops:

Speaking of which...they say bad luck happens in three's...so here are the three I copped yesterday:

  1. Locked the key in the boot of the car.
  2. Got bitten by a European wasp at lunch (MAN they sting and the itching is driving me MAD!!)
  3. Killed a small finch on the drive home (yep Gary...I did collect one of them!) :girlcray:

Hopefully that is the end of the bad luck as the next long drive I do will be route 66 in a V8 Mustang (yep...had to mention it again and rub it in! ) :3gears:
