Ideal Afr For 400Kw+

I've recently had my car retuned, and I was told its around 12.8

It is making more power than before, but the oil temp is up about ~10*. This leads me to believe that the car is running leaner.

Is it safe?

My mod list is in the sig.

The more power you make more heat is created, You may have to go to a more specific oil to suit your power and application.

I would say no your honour its not ideal. With more boost charge temps will go up but by the looks you have the mods to support so that shouldn't be a big deal your engine temps will be going up because it is running lean, can only assume its on 98?

On pump most aim for about 12.0 abit either side isn't a big deal though.

On 98. The car had more boost in it before.

Some boost was taken out, and timing added in the current tune, and the result is higher oil temp.

I'm also led to believe that the tune before had a richer afr than 12.8

12.8 is excessively lean on 98, there is no reason to have it up that high.. take it to the tuner and tell him you demand him put some fuel back in before you melt a piston.

I'm pretty sure my car ran 11.5 afrs on e85, which I thought was quite low.

Is the ideal afr in the mid 11s, when up around 18 pound?

How lean is 12.8@18lb? Is it really lean, or a touch lean?
