B series gives a better note than the FGs when it comes to deleting a muffler.

get a cannon?

(tunes required for muffler change, or enough movement in the standard ECU to adapt?)

catback is fine. Turbo back will need retuning.

What about changing the two stock mufflers with straight through type? (A question not a suggestion).

Don't mean to hack this thread but didn't wanna start a new one. I have a similar question but mine is a 3.5" mild steel turbo back xforce system and I'm looking to make it louder as it's just too quiet. (Was louder before with stock exhaust + centre muffler removed and high flow cat). Should I remove the rear muffler and put a straight pipe or throw in a resonator? Any ideas??

Cheers

Will do mate. I drove around the block last week with the rear muffler removed (un-bolted it from the middle muffler).

Had a wicked deepness but no real note

Ah k.. I reckon a hotdog resonator in place of the big barrel style muffler would sound 10x better. But let us know how you go with the straight pipe.
