Loud Or Just Normal?

I installed the GSS340 and this is how it sounds. Compared to the stock pump which I couldn't even hear this sounds very loud.

Is this just normal for this model?

When I installed the same pump in my old BF it was the same.

I always thought it was a bit loud as well.. but I guess its just normal with the walbros!

On my twin turbo vx ss I had a walbro in tank and 2 044 mounted the the chassis.

I wanted to kill my self everytime I turned the stereo down.

But yes nicky boy it's the norm.

Oh well, the stereo covers up all sorts of knocks, rattles and bumps in the T, might as well cover up one more sound.

Wow!! that's awful. So glad when I had my old BA tuned I used a siemens pump as it was quiet as the stock pump.

I'm sure the sound of the Walbro will do something to charm the ladies. Just like a snake charmer charms a snake with that flute.

Mine is noisy on prime ( no motor to drown it out) but once running I can only hear it from outside the car. Inside is quiet.

Did you get it from a walbro reseller or fleabay? there were a lot of fakes around which were not so flash.

Still, good excuse to get a bigger/rowdier zorst..
