as ralphy said the last coupla digits should be ground off that's how " aparently they flow match them as a set " there just bosch injectors that have been tested.

if new and warranty no issues

if second hand allow around 15/20 bucks an injector to clean and flow test .............definately worth it

have a set sitting right here. nothing has been ground off.

there is a 5 digit number engraved into the flat section under the plug.

can take a pic for anyone that's interested?

If you can get a pic of the part number. But I bet you its been ground off in someway.

on closer inspection your right, it looks just like the pic jet posted above.

mine are still sealed in the bag so was a bit hard to see.

I was going to go to bed at 11pm and now its 1am because of this thread.

I think I did find a part number for the injector that is the base for the ID 1000cc. It may be 280 158 279.

I came across an unmodified 1000cc bosch EV14 6 hole injector that seems to be available for US$100 ea. Its 280 158 040. Its got what is called an extension nozzle on it but seems like it is being used in the Audi modified car scene. Maybe one to look into.
