My swirls are farking ridiculous , no chance in hell I'll finish today .Just finished spraying tar remover , washing, claying,washing, now doing first pass .

Holy smokes I underestimated the amount of work that needs to be done :s

If you CBF mate just do panel by panel a couple of panels a night get it done over a week much easier for arm

Cheers for your help mate , I think my panel is in too bad a shape. I just tested half a bonnet with 3 passes of ultimate compound and can still see scratches , but 95% of swirls are gone . Will have to do for now , I hope once shine comes back that the scratches won't be too visible.

Mines an ex cop car and they really did a mighty job at scratching the car up bad

If its that bad I'd pay a pro to go over it with a rotary polisher and a heavy cut those RO polishers don't do a very good job handling scratches, or learn how to wet sand or learn how to use a rotary polisher

was going to say you got your work cut out for you doing it by hand.

only thing to be careful of is creating holograms, I think its more when using a machine, but just something to check as you go.
