220 240 is pretty good for stock wow.....my goal is 300 that's it...im sure that's what they all say lol...he said 1,500 for the xcl...ill have to look around for cheaper price

That price will include the tune, SCT have pretty much set a price for the xcal. They can either sell them as 799 with the pre-loaded tunes on them, or 699 with no tunes pre-loaded. Some places don't do the 699 price though so 799 is pretty much what you pay for them.

No way should/would he be charging 1500 for the unit alone though I'd hope!!

if your not doing any mods except the tune for now go a Xcal with the preloads. just plug and play really and then you will have it for later...I think a off shelf tune with give you at least and extra 20rwkw

Okray so I just bought a 2009 fg xr6t, 6sp manual, stock as a rock.

If I get tune done as is now, what power can I expect and what effect will it have on drivability, economy etc

Yep, around 250rwkw, less traction and better economy.

Injectors are your 1st restriction, so if you can afford them chuck them in too.
