Go really off beat and stock a late model direct injection turbo 4 cyl diesel in there with an auto, get exhaust, intake and tuned and it would be a monster, kinda like a small super tourer like you see I'm the states (big turbo v8 diesel in muscle car, big brakes, race suspension etc)

Im gunna do mazda BPT 4cyl dohc turbo motor from a mx5/miata.

Its been done a couple times. And ive built a BPT before so I have the knowledge already.

There was a turbo 4.1 escort pannel van in Brookvale street regestered in a mag I think Street Machine. You can buy a 5.4 kit for a Focus its on Youtube in the states, that would be fast and fun.

I can remember coming up against an old Escort running a 302 Windsor at the Dandenong drags in the mid 1980's. It was really quick for the day. It was a very nice and neat conversion.
