Hitech Mufflers Bf Ute Turbo Back, Help!

I'm currently in the market for a turbo back exhaust for

My xr6t bf2 ute.

I've seen the xforce kits and I love them but they are illegal in every way lol

The hitech system is fully legal but has a 3" section and I'm not sure that's good as I have read a few posts against them, the company is saying because it's over the diff the gasses are cool enough that it doesn't effect performance.

The system we offer for the BA XR6T consists of;

 

·         3.5’’ Dump Pipe w/Twin Hi-Flow Cats

·         Twin 2.5’’ to Single 3’’ Straight-Through Centre Section

·         Single 3’’ to Twin 2.5’’ Straight-Through Rear Section

$2040

Let me know what you guys think, or if there is a better legal system, honestly I want the best I can get!

There's someone selling a 2month old APS exhaust somewhere, fb maybe, for $1000. Much better option.

how are the x force ones illegal?

is it noise you are worried about?

try a few other places like smb, ces, mantra etc.

you say you want the best, so what are you intentions with your power goal?

It's emissions and sound illegal, I have never been pulled over but it's a little fear.

Honestly I want about mid 300s but I wanna be set for the future incase I want more and not have to buy another system.

Just do dump and cat if only wanting 300, comes in a lot cheaper than $2000. Oops just re read mid 300s.

Just called APS, turns out they dont make the XR6T exhaust anymore because the Cat they had isnt emissions standard anymore and they told me to buy an Xforce lol! Love it!

If the mufflers are like what I had in the 3" system for FG forget mid 300rwkw

The mufflers are sh*thouse, they are tiny internally and a restriction, at 300rwkw and below its a great system, sounded good reasonably quiet, but slower than stock system on my car as factory FG sedan is 3" straight through no nasty reducing down to 2" inside the mufflers like the hitech ones

Mine may have been a FG sedan but from what I see they use the same mufflers on all the systems twin 2.5" in single 3" out, but cut one off and look in it, yuk!

So I was looking at hitech catback for my FG, is the general consensus then that they suck?

I am a bit wary of the XForce as I have heard with an auto they can drone, basically after a 2.5" twin catback that gives a better note than stock and does not drone!!
