Hey all had my fg turbo for a few weeks now and I would like to know if there is any way to find out if my car has been tuned. I ask this because it has standard intake and blow off. But when the boost comes on the intake sound is pretty loud and the blow off valve sounds loud for standard. Cheers

Hi All,

I made it through a long line of fords to the best one so far FG turbo.

started with an XC coupe, , XE, ZJ, another XE, AU (I wont admit the 6 months behind a VL worst car I owned)

Unfortunately I know nothing about the FG under the bonnet any suggestions will be well received.

I have a question - wheres the waste gate solenoid located - as I have a pesky error code 0246 "is the garage (for donating members) the place for answers ?

Hey all, my names Darcy, I live in the Newcastle area. Im a newbie to forums in general so bear with me. Currently own an 05 BA Mk II Xr6 Ute which goes like a dream.

Looking at getting myself an FG Xr6T in the next few days, and I've never really been involved in the tuning/mod aspect of cars so any advice or help would be appreciated.

Just do a lot of reading on here and you'll catch onto what mods you'll want to get for a particular power level. Plenty of info on here! Good luck
