I tuned out of the Supercars after the 2 brand thing put me to sleep. Finally something to bring me back into the sport, and a whole host of Nissan and Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts and the general motorsport viewer who also grew tired of the same old stuff.This is a new lease of life for the series.I hope you're right. I'll watch and see, but the formula is the same, just differnet car bodies.

Can't wait!!That's where I'm sitting too. 4 day passes as well but taking the missus to the wineries and will only be using my Sat / Sun tickets.And I disagree Dags and I'm staying optimistic about the changes for now. If COF can mix the winners up a bit more then it will breathe new life into the Championship. The cars will have more grip this year then the past 10 years so it may making passing easier.The biggest issue V8s face is the drop in TV money. I think the figures are they are down from 28mil a season to 16mil. And Telstra has pulled its sponsorship so the money to run the sport is no where near what it was.
