Its coyotes , they are near by, make sure you build a fire at night.

Sounds like some sort of pressure being released after you shut off.

Is it popping The dipstick out? Could be some sort of Excess crankcase pressure. :/ god that's a weird sound!

Nat dipstick is fine. everything else seems normal. been told there is a sensor round the back of the head. is this right? Could it be leaking

Sounds like some sort of pressure being released after you shut off.

Now you just have to find it. Get a stethoscope and try different locations on the engine and its components.

Its not the turbo.

PS, Did the coyotes come last night.
