unless boost control is an issue or it is your preference you can get to 320-330 without a port and actuator, several cars on here are in that range without it.

as far as the 2stage boost controller this is not something many people opt for on these cars as all the control is done by the factory computer. most people will have a high and low boost tune if they wish for multiple boost options.

most people tend to end up on the high boost tune and leave it there though.

Rightio then.. Fair enough.. So when you say "..contorl is done by the factory computer.." do you mean that the Flash TUNE device sets the boost and with the factory computer it controls boost level?

This I think is what you mean as you mention a HIGH and LOW boost tune.. Meaning two different tunes of the three you can get.. I am guessing a lot here. From what I have read so far, you need to switch the car off to change tunes with the Flash Tuner,, there would be no way to do it 'one the fly' so to speak?

Sorry to be a PAIN TRA1NR.. but your posts are very informative so I have picked on you..

Reckon you can respond to the above to help me understand this FLASH tune and Boost Control better?

BTW > Love the looks of your ride.. So Shhha'weet..! It seems like it would scrape over speed bumps, does it?

Both of those are correct.

Hey mate, everything you have said is true, you would have 2 different tunes with 2 different boost levels, and would need to flash between them, I know some of the high power boys run aftermarket boost controllers, but for street duties I don't know that it would be necessary (or cost effective).

Thanks for the comments about my car. It only really scraped on the very sharp speed humps, although if I just got the tyres on top, braked, and let them drop down the other side it was ok.

It is a bit higher now due to a canary and some heavy duty springs in the rear.
