  1. Yeah good point. I was going to ask them to take the Nolathane bushes out of the old cradle, but they won't fit??
  2. Awesome!! Is 1600 including freight a good cost?
  3. Hello Guys n Gals, G6E Turbo MKII. I have a wrecker telling me for a complete rear cradle replacement, that the XR6 Turbo MKII rear cradle will bolt straight in and the diff matches and everything, plug and play with bonus of LSD. Sounds to good to be true, is it?
  4. I have no physical experience. Everything I have read is good and they give great detailed video's and are heavily involved in Drag Racing. That being said, anything online is up for debate, I hope you get some real world testing responses to help you. Side note* Drag Racing is the most awesome testing ground.
  5. Mate. Bit of a long shot. But I had a very similar issue. It turned into a very scary rotational knock especially under braking. It was from right side mostly. Turns out it was a cracked mount on the drive shaft at the front. It mightn't be your issue, but double check all mounts and brackets related to diff and shaft.
  6. Good idea. All I want is to get better grip instead of spinning one wheel basically.
  7. Hi Guys & Gals, So regarding the diff upgrade from single spinner to LSD for our 'Bad Grandpa' rolling rigs... I've put a link in for one I wanted feedback on. true-Trac is a mixed bag in terms of driving feel but I can't find much about this iteration? https://www.maceengineering.com.au/MACE-M86-TORQUE-LOCK-LSD-DIFF-TO-SUIT-FORD-FALCON-BA-BF-FG 🚦
  8. Admittedly when I bought them they were cheaper. But I've included the links as I can confirm they are crisp, white, bright, cause no errors and rock. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/LED-Interior-Light-Kit-Fits-Ford-FG-FPV-SEDAN-Super-Bright-Xenon-White-/331103300918?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0 You want to get these as well for the boot and behind the rear vents. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-x-CAR-12V-LED-41MM-42MM-FESTOON-INTERIOR-WHITE-LIGHT-BULB-5050-6SMD-globe-/232660615700?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0
  9. DBA all the way. Fantastic. No problemo.
  10. My bad. Got trigger happy on my response. Impressive figures [emoji15]
  11. @Slowxr6t to quote @Puffwagon apparently changing the wheel does 2/3rds of fark all. However seeing as your Turbo is out and getting worked on, you may as well. I've been led to believe blade count is not that important it's overall design. Hopefully you can get some real world feedback and go with that. Also look into reverse fins etc and their effect. Good luck and please post results 🤟
  12. Ok no one, I mean it was worth asking, a little mucking around to switch the underside of the seat to put the seat controls on the opposing side, then wiring, then .. and .. hmm yeah I'll put this in the bad idea pile.. just wish G6 had electric passenger seat.
  13. Has anyone tried this, is the wiring there to power it up? [emoji848][emoji848]
  14. @Puffwagon 2/3rds of fark all Ahhh got to love that metric... Haha.. Had a feeling it'd be a Beez 🐝 d!ck difference.. I'll just upgrade whole Turbo if need be, may as well go external wastegate and screamer too while I'm at it 😁🤟
  15. Hi Guys and Gals, Just wondering if anyone has had experience in upgrading just their compressor wheel. I'm seeing a lot of adds (and they are wearing me down to purchase point, but I will continue resistance) where I can upgrade from 7 blade wheel to billet 11 blade wheel with reverse tip small blades for more puff up top? Seems to me you would only upgrade if you are getting close to maxing out the psi of existing setup, I don't see how efficiency gains would warrant such an exercise.
  16. Appreciate the input @biddie_fiddler 🤟 I'm thinking I'll get round to it soon enough, new shocks, strut towers, control arms, bushes, the works, but it still 'creaks' over speed bumps, one day it'll annoy me enough to do something. I'll check out MCA in the meantime.
  17. Hmmmm, thanks for the tip. I was wondering why such a bargain. Mixed reviews with this brand. I'll finish tinkering with the engine first, then some lighter rims and then this.
  18. Well I've always considered just a little drop and stiffening of the front, it's very 'boaty' stock. Not so interested in the drop, more the adjustability. Camber and stiffness I 'am guessing' would knock the handling to such a nice perfect level for the leviathan of sedans, the almighty G6'ER..

  20. Motorola E7. 100 bucks for the phone. 5000mah battery so it lasts. Torque Pro app. Bluetooth OBD2 sender. 130 bucks all up. Change gauges and themes as I feel. Boost always the main gauge. *Oh 15 on a phone holder. 🤟🤟
  21. Hi Guys and Gals, Well I got an old brush, some sugar soap, mixed it in a bucket with hot water and did the engine bay. Folks I'm not sponsored (I wish) holy friggin hell, it worked an absolute treat, drop what you are doing and buy some. Best result I've ever had going through all kinds of product's. That is all
  22. Hi Guys and Gals, So I'm driving along, taking off from lights, the BOV sneezes, young one in the back pipes up, Geez Dad sounds like the car has 'Car'ona' virus.. 😅 Kids say the darnedest thing. Daddies girl 😜❤️
  23. Hi Guys and Gals, Thought I'd put up my quick story. *Edit in real life we're talking 6 months diagnosing* I had an intermittent misfire. Cylinder 3. It was getting worse and worse and less intermittent. Error codes etc. Moved to other cylinders. Cylinder 5, then various ones, then all of them. Mechanic threw plugs, plug gapping, new coils, new wiring at it. Nothing. Then I asked him to replace Fuel filter, it was terribly clogged. All misfires disappeared, no new codes. Unbelievable. Moral of the story, a misfire could be for about 647,000 different reasons, luck of the draw, I was lucky I suppose.
  24. Yeah I did, Venom Dump and high flow cat. Just eyeing off exhausts for the next round of bits and tune.
