I was gonna put a c4 in it as well but changed my mind, I guess ill have that option when I blow up the 4 speed again

Hey fellas, who in Adelaide would you recommend to beef up a 4 speed auto(BA) Mines not perfect at the moment

We have a trans bloke down here, but I wouldnt let him touch it. Anyone use MV in Blackwood?

First time I got mine done at SA Race trans and the other 2 times through Bruce, cant remember the guys name. The trans feels very good so far. Are you planning on changing the converter as well?

Probably not. Mine is a daily driver, and my missus drives it as well. No drag strips for me.

My trans has been rebuilt twice before. 1st owner once, and 2nd owner had it done.

Just doesnt feel right under full boost on the 2nd to 3rd shift( I think that's the gears???)

Bruce played with the shifts when I got it tuned with the old engine, but said it needed pressures upped.

My local trans man says it cant be done, and you cant beef these trans up. So, you can see why I wont use him!!

Does it take a few seconds to shift into 3rd if its on full boost? Id get it rebuilt now coz it will most probably sooner or later let go.

ive heard all the stories on btr in adelaide and the differance in $$$ get s.a race to build it they last the longest by a country mile in fact ive only heard of gorans letting go but he does drive particulay hard

there was an episode a few years back with sam and someone he used for converters but that's all laid to rest now and my built box from him was mickey mosue till the day I sold the car and I used to give it heaps and even went to the drags with a 2800 stall in her , I just replaced the trans fluid more frequently than most once a year max say and that kept it til top

bloosted also had a built box from sam sa. race and same out come all good
