Long and short of it was because of my tinting.I bought the car about 4 years ago with this tint on and didn't think much of it. Seemed a little darker than usual, but nothing stupid. Never had an issue with any police or anything before so this was a little out of the blue.Cops did a U-turn specifically to come back and pull me over. Checked the tint and came back as 14.8% and was told to have it removed. It's just f*cking annoying as my car is stock as a rock, I'm not a hoon or an idiot and I've only ever had 1 speeding fine. Counted a number of cars with tint darker than mine on the way back. So needless to say I'm pretty pissed off.Got yellowed and told it needed to be taken over the pits. Does anyone know if they will just check my tint? Or will it have to be a full mechanical inspection etc?Im in Perth as well - Can anyone recommend or refer me to a place that can remove/re-tint the car? They only give you 10 days, so Monday will be day 4 sadly... :(Thanks guys,Dan

Or is this going to involve a full mechanical inspection? Just want to know what I'm in for when I go to the pits.I'll PM you luke Thanks guys,Dan
