You'll could be surprised, my typhoon threw a rod and head was untounched. Built a bottom end for it, had the head serviced and put it in and it's a great engine

Will-82 what did that set you back assumimg you pulled the motor out and refitted it after it was put together for ya

my driveway is in muswellbrook , I can gladly help

get ya mech. to rip the head off and see if its bent any valves / damaged the CC , if all clear

get self a bottom end from a bf2 on wards , head gasket , machine the head , wack it back together and drink more beer :)

LOl quadie makes it sound soo easy... if my BA motor went I would def not be putting another BA one in that's for sure...

It's actully not that bad. Couple of tricky bolts. But I made tools to help so all good. Can do out and in in one day

just got off the phone to ferntree gully auto salvage, his got a typhoon motor with 48,000 clicks on it still in the car, his gna take my motor and give me the phoon motor, fitted $4,800..

what you guys think?
