Can't comment any further on it at the moment sorry.Wow ... not allot of work for an Atomic 968kw rated motor?????What happen to that motor to make you stump up for complete new engine to be built by Tony Bellert Race Engine's? 1

We weren't far off removing the head anyway to do the same work that we've just done to it. While the head was off to repair what we had to we thought we'd just do the right thing & check everything over & freshen it up before it copped a hiding with the haltech fitted & because as ya know once the heads off it's buggar all to pull the short out. When it got stripped down we found what we found. And yes Tony is/has built the new engine. The only parts we retained were the rods, girdle, headstuds & oil pump everything was a right off or not fit for purpose. We finally have some major progress with it all. The head is all bar complete, the porting is all done & most parts are here but we've decided on some anti pump lifters cause of the setup we now have but that wont put us too far behind. We also recieved the long awaited throttle controller so it's full steam ahead with everything. Edited 11/10/13 12:50 PM by qik1 1

Why the change to CP pistons? Are they a better design compared to the Atomic Cosworth pistons for your application? 1

There a specifally designed high boost piston and to top it off we chose our own over size which is very minimal and there a fraction of the cost of the cosworths. Edited 12/10/13 07:44 AM by qik1
