(any one got better prices I am all ears)my theory is the GT and GS are the same car for the exception of 4 pot brembos and some body kiting, is that worth 11.5K extra. on the flip side my head says if your spending near 60K you are better off spending that bit more to get the GT street Cred and Resale. I am in two minds my Heart says GT & my brain says GS.I want to make a decsion by week end and if anyone can recomend any good dealers that would do me a better price that would be great. The better body KitNot sure if the suspension is the same between the two though? Not to mention the fact that it is a GT!I guess, if you weren't going to spend anymore than the couple upgrades you mentioned, and you can put up with the car looking like a standard FG XR6, the GS is the way to go.Also, I wonder how much longer we will have to wait for the new series to be released? I mean, you may be able to pick up a GT for a bit cheaper then? I think it does come down to if you want to mod it, how far you wanna go with the mods and how long you plan to keep it. id rather buy the GS and spend 10k on it but if your not looking to go wild id much rather the GT. Came down I one simple reason, I just liked the look and feel of the GT much much better. It might be just me but when your looking at cars like these I think its better that your heart over rules your head. Go the GT I can guarantee you wont regret it. Guest XR09 Guests Posted 26/05/11 10:31 AM Share Posted 26/05/11 10:31 AM If the series 2 is getting an interior like the New Terry. It will be worth the wait. The 8" screen is brilliant and I like the way the ICC sticks out more. It will make the current Premium screen seem pretty basic. It has nice finishing trim around the handbrake and stuff to. Just looks so much more thought out and refined. If I was going the GS I would go a demo. Fark paying new for an old looking car. It could make a great sleeper debadged and no stripes. And a tuned and cooled motor under the hood. So yeah if I was going the GT I would wait.Going the GS it would be all about tuning the motor.Ford dealers are screaming for sales right now. Cash in hand you could rape them. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/75046-need-help/#findComment-1109292 Share on other sites
