Now THAT was a GREAT car chase scene!

No special effects and video enhancements there!

Probably an XY GT faker with polished Weiand 6-71 s/c hanging out of the bonnet. Yellow Glow with Black FR18 or 19 Simmons all round with MS700s brakes on it. *sigh*

Whilst not a classic, I would go for the car that started my love affair with cars in general and ignited my passion for having a turbocharged car. A 1989 Ford Capri Turbo soft-top. Looked good, went like a dog shot in the ar$e and stopped just as fast. Sure it leaked a little when it rained, but that's why God invented celastic ;)

For 30K?

A Mustang late '60's coupe with a 302.

A XB GT with extras.

or,

An original series Ducati 916 Senna. Great appreciation value.

I'd have to go for a '78-79 Corvette stingray if possble.

Or a '65 Mustang.

From the old land....maybe a '78 Porsche Carrera convertable

From Oz....a straight XB GT in the emerald/congo green or in red.

An XC Falcon Cobra with the 351.

Also wouldn't mind the xD ESP Falcon. Almost bought one in 87....till the dealer found out what it was really worth, then jacked the price right up. :hiwelcome:

The Phase 5 xD Falcon would also be a good machine to have in the garage.
