What's The Better Car To Buy 05 Sti Or Fg Xrt

I have been researching for the past two years on the best turbocharged car I could.

I have only come down to two cars that fit my liking and price range.

2005 wrx sti or fg xr6 turbo

which one is better in these categories

1. 1/4 mile time

2. building potential

3. or any other cars that I could by with 25 grand.

Don't know about sti's

But afaik FG's can run low 10's factory 1/4 mile time

Sti's are for poofs, buy an evo

I wanna keep both the cars stock

it's gonna be my first performance car I just want to have

a good take off

I considered a bf typhoon untill I hard about the problems with the 6spd man

and how ford improved the 6 spd man in the fg xrt

I want to go around corners but want 1 4 mile speed more than anything

What problems? There a solid box capable of handling alot of power.

BF Typhoon for performance and handling. Go Auto if you want fast track times.

The clutch in the fg is alot spongier than the Bf. But nice to drive none the less.

Auto's no doubt are fun and you will kill with a 6 spd auto but I wanna rev the sh*t outta of a spd man

I love the way the fg looks

but how will it perform compared to an import
