Hi Guys,

Will be getting a tune in the coming months I will be limiting the power to the 270-280 mark. Is it going overboard getting the Rapid replacement Intercooler which is around a grand to buy or is a FPV intercooler okay? What will the rapid one do better at that output?

Thanks in advance....

The FPV one from a BA/BF or FG ?

The aftermarket ones will generally cool better as they are larger. Rapids seems to be a good value unit and would be better than a BA/BF FPV one.

I dont mind spending the money if it is worth it but if there will be no advantage at that power output, I would prefer to use the $700 odd dollars for other things.....

The Rapid will be miles ahead of the FPV cooler and will keep air intake temps under control very well and have room for more power later on as the bug bites harder.
