Hope its better than their related video of cyclone 'Anthony'....22mins of cloud cover then the cam falls over and the last 2 mins is a shot of the floor....

Apparently the blokes out at Willis island got out but the equipment out the is a bit worse for wear.

We just went for a wander down the beach. Anybody who knows Cairns knows that the swell isn't exactly big..... Well at the moment it's pumping. There's about 20 people out there having a surf.

We are about 500m from the beach but we aren't in the flooding zone so that is good.

Think I might sit back now with an esky full of beers and watch the palm trees sway.

I'll try and keep update on here to let know how we are going. Where I am (Kewarra beach, northern beaches of cairns) the last 20mins the rain has started and the wind has started howling.

Hmmm, very strange it was getting very windy and heavy rain and now the sky is blue and all is calm. It must be the calm before the storm.
