Builds like this double your initial figure & triple your build schedule & then make sure you have some left over for when sh!t breaks for the fun of it, TRUST ME!!!Good luck though bud it's one hell of a ride.

Buuuutttt, expect to be questioned on how your going to achieve it, people come on occazionly making claims of 8 sec pass's and 1500hp. more power to ya when you achieve it.
Mburgz010 Member 17 Member For: 15y 9m 10d Posted 30/12/10 10:42 AM Author Posted 30/12/10 10:42 AM Cheers qik1, I know it will cost heaps more and theres gunna be a lot of stuff breaking,im not worried about that, I have had a read through and have got some ideas already, and as for fuel im not sure as I wont be driving it for a while cause of the new laws in s.a for p platers, but will probs detune it for normsl driving, I should be able to drive on pump fuel??

Ive got a normal everyday tune & one with abit more fun on pump & then something for dyno days & the track, not that we're even close but they all different for different occassions.

Posted 30/12/10 12:53 PM Posted 30/12/10 12:53 PM (edited) p plater .... 600rwkw build. Is this gonna be one of those other threads again? Just of basic figures20k will get you a full forged long 998 motor from atomic fitted and tuned.if your sticking with an auto, you will need 8-12k for a powerglide/tailshaft/transbrake etc setupelse you need a massive malwood clutch and strong g/box for same as above.then 10k-12k for turbo, cooler, plenum and all pipe work etc.2-4k for a 4" exhaust system + dump.fuel rails + 1000cc injectors, surge tank + pumps etc 4-5klist goes on from here. ask anyone with over 450rwkw! 6BOOST Legacy Donating Member 139 Member For: 18y 8m 12d Gender: Male Posted 30/12/10 01:14 PM Posted 30/12/10 01:14 PM As per my email, bank on 40-50k turn key for 1000+hp, you sound like you won't be doing any of the labour yourself and any build of this calibre has at least 10k of labour involved to build the car start to finish. I know, we have built 3 falcons making this sort of power, and our hourly rate is half what others charge for the same or lesser quality work. My 2 words of advise are this:The poor man pays twiceAndAnyone who promises you the world, so much more than anyone else can apparently do the job for, isn't a magician, and the others aren't expensive, they are doing one of 2 things:1:Under quoting to get your car in the door and pulled apart, then all of a sudden this and that start to add up and you magically end up at the same 40+k2:They do everything half arsed with cheap parts, don't do various things they should do, make the power on the dyno sheet, you take your car and 6 months later you sell it for nothing and drive a camry as its fallen to pieces and everything on it is a POS.6BOOST
