driving outa my mates street tonight gave it a bit of a squirt in 2nd gear nd clunk clunk bang pull over oil pissing out from under the car nd bit of con rod spread all over the road only had the car 3 months so so so devistated think I could almost cry

Don't feel too bad mate these things happen. Just learn from the failure and think of the positives. Get the car in the shed, start planning the repair and what the new engine is going to look like. Remember it's only an engine and it can all be fixed. Much better than smashing the car or hurting yourself.

dont fret too much dude, there are plenty of blocks around at wreckers if you dont have too much coin. I would contact a good tuner near you and see if they can help you out. try the forum sponsors on here, and they will prol be sympathetic and try to help you out.

when the new block goes in, get a good tune done. shouldnt have alot of probs after that....

I know how you feel dude, same thing happened to me, had it a couple of months, spent 3 g's to get it going good, then bang. Worst feeling ever.

These sort of stories give me cause for concern too......

Mine is a Mk1 BF with the little conrods....it's this exact reason that I have stopped modding it. :dontknow:
