Some guys did a test on the Pirelli Angels at the main track I race at and they got a very big wrap. Pat those slicks are wearing very well for me, I was using Diablo Super Corsa SC`s and crucified them after one meeting, but those Diablo Superbike tyres have atleast one more meeting in them after 2 rounds of the Southern Downs Series. Which surprised me. Nothing to do with you application but just sayin`.

I like these Pat, possibly not for your application though.

Raced this guy all weekend on his 675R, nice bike with good set up, power commander and the fuel done. He came up to me in the pits with a huge grin after he got past me and was able to stay there as we went over the line. I got just as big a kick out him saying that his one goal for the weekend was to beat me just once. He got by me once more but I went inside under brakes, I was pogoing a bit and practically had to pivot to get round but he said it was kosher ( its racing, not a track day ) but old mate that followed me through the guy on the Triumph didn`t have such kind words for, said his shoulder touched his back tyre and he had to stand it up. Bit rude, its not for sheep stations, granted but you do try ya hardest. I do anyway. Oddly we both agreed my stock apart from the full Yoshi system gixxer 600 was quicker. After discussing set up, we tended to think it was gearing, I`m minus 1 plus 2 I think he was just minus 1. He was a bigger chap that I too.

Lately, I`ve missed my Typhoon just a lil bit.. I`d really like a special ed. GT though, by Jove they`re nice. Anyway.. This where my money`s going lately.

Race 2 group 2 Warwick Challenge, basically you qualify and put into a group and race. Mate was on pole on his pretty trick Fireblade, power comander, quick shifter, suspension, brembp brake bits, I was on P2 with my `08 GSXR 600 that has tyres, gearing change, an exhuast and braided brake lines and as it came from the factory everything else. What can I say, I get away okay. I`m on the black bike that leads until mid lap 2 and Steve finally gets his sh*t together and blows on by. This was my second race meeting, my previous best was 1 min 33.3, I did strings 1:29`s for a best of 1:29.1. Which is something of an improvement. coming along nicely I`d say.

Over 500 klm of mixed driving with the fuel guage still showing half tank, I`ll take that. It`s actually piss funny to drive, I dig it. Trent, that's like when that Sheldon Cooper came out, big shock.

Ah, the keen eye has detected the dark tint. It has the tie down points as well, that's a cool feature.

BF one tonner that's served me well has its last wash, even splashed some auto glym vinyl sh*t on it and hot melt glued the door grab thing back on. To be parked until the new car is ready to collect, could be wednesday. Gonna be tough going back to a 6 speed manual after a few years of having me gears changed for me.

Road registered bikes no, but I`m going to buy a DRZ 400 trailie soon. the g/f has a TTR 230 and wants to go to trail bike park thingo`s together ( creepy eh ) I wanna cruise around a bit, I don`t want to be jumping 13 double decker buses anymore, just a few wheelies and slides out the bush to keep my eye in. My track bike is awesome, its light, I don`t get pinged for having a fender eliminator lol and I can ride how I, ahem, tend to do, with out getting put in jail. track days and racing costs a bit but f*ck it, its very very funny as Senor` Rossi says. Here`s Selina and my R1 in track bike mode, I was gonna make it a race bike but didn`t have the heart, I sold it to a guy ( LOL! he was in Afghanistan at the time, talk about alarm bells ) and he loves it.
