BensXR6T Member 478 Member For: 16y 4m 3d Gender: Male Location: Burpengary QLD Posted 10/12/10 10:23 AM Share Posted 10/12/10 10:23 AM The F6 has longer legs then the GT335 which gives it the rolling top end speed, however, tests have shown the GT335 is quicker down the 1/4 and too 100... nothing a bit of tuning won't change though.IMO do the right things to the SC V8 and it will be a lot stronger the the T6 right through the rev range, especially in the lower rev range. That F6 is sitting flatter than std for mine. 01txr Member 861 Member For: 18y 3m 25d Gender: Male Location: QLD Posted 10/12/10 11:02 AM Share Posted 10/12/10 11:02 AM Sound like it was only 2nd & 3rd gear, very tight track if you look at motor mag test it's the top end of the GT that really shines. The GT also sounded like it was struggling to get power down and the driver only usingLow percentage of throttle. Motor mag tested the f6 & gts and by 180 the GT had put 80m on the gts & the f6 only 25m. Just look at Simons gs ute XFT and to run 11.725 @ 139mph just with tune and wider tyres. Us T6 guys are going to get wooped. Also the f6 in clip was already on track and may have had better tyre temp as for the GT entering with cold tyres and brakes etc. Not a very good comparo as we don't know anything about it. cranny Donating Members 123 Member For: 17y 1m 10d Gender: Male Location: Sydney NSW Posted 10/12/10 11:15 AM Author Share Posted 10/12/10 11:15 AM I have driven both these cars and to be honest feels about right. who believes any magazine for all we know ford could gift them 20k to make out there new almighty v8 is best. the best stock gt 1/4 time was 12.92 guys on this forum have beaten that stock with f6s. tyre temp is very marginal in stock form we are not running V8 super car control tyres. also this is tested with roll on speed if it is struggling to put power down at 100 clicks F me. I am still waiting to be blown away by the GT I might seem critacl but I have sold my bf F6 and I am tossing up between these two cars. come on GT give me something solid to chew on.
