September 8, 201016 yr #13 probably not , unless they have a ticket to prove itAs for spoilers and wings , can't imagine they are anything other than cosmetic
September 8, 201016 yr #14 As for spoilers to stop it being all floaty in the front youd need a front one to keep the nose grounded, the rear probably does what it needs to.
September 9, 201016 yr #15 Need bigger spoiler to keep car from floating but this inturn slows the car down so need more power. I doubt that the ford rear spoliers would do much for the xr's maybe create less drag, but nothing on the down force??
September 9, 201016 yr #16 I am not sure a spoiler would create less drag, and I do think that it would create some down force, but marginal, cheers
September 9, 201016 yr #17 Even on FPVs the best they would create is drag. Need a proper aerodynamically designed purpose built front bar with the correct splitters.Rear spoiler would not create any meaninful amount of down force. In other words , just wank value IMO.Cosmetic V functional, bare in mind these cars are not designed to push it to the output of the motor.Brakes , suspension, aero dynamics etc. These are not designed as modded track monsters. They are in fact just fast taxis. Hence the need to upgrade the farkers other components. To have meaningful and functional bars and spoilers they will need to be tested on the track.Fraud add them as a boy racer look only. In other words not worth a piece of Nanny Goat sh*t in terms of functionality
September 9, 201016 yr #18 as said, must b able to edit out the limiter as I know they can pullout to very close to 250 reving out 5th gear in a t56
September 10, 201016 yr #19 6spd auto FGs could pull 400km/h with their gearing LOLwell almostlook out veyrons... ok maybe not Edited September 10, 201016 yr by andrewd
September 10, 201016 yr #20 Umm, funny......not.Being realistic though, a standard body shaped, ( no fancy carbon this carbon that) Falcon would be at it's limits, as APS found out many years ago.The question remains......Why has no one tried a top speed run in any Falcon since??Just quietly, I reckon the answer is in the aerodynamics.....and really, where would you use it??
