Posted 10/04/10 10:31 AM Posted 10/04/10 10:31 AM I changed the instrument cluster in my car and now the oil warning light and chime won't go out..... Ive added gauges to the car and I know its got plenty of pressure so what can I do to get rid of the light?

Everything else works perfectly....tach, speedo other gauges and warning lights... How come you've got to "update" the thing just for ONE warning light??? If it wasn't for the damn chime....I could just stick a bit of tape over the light and off we'd go.....

Or do you run the sender unit for the gauge on a T-piece with the original low pressure switch?

I tried disconnecting the light sender and it made no difference... Zap....they are both low series clusters.

BF series cars use a different ABS system compared to the BA's so it will constantly alarm.Only way to fix it is to get a BF cluster or modify your own.Matt
