17's Vs 18's

Not sure if anyone else is interested, but here are 2 pic's I got from my dealer.

First, the standard 17's (oops, that's massive, lets try this):

Don't know about you guys, but I'm sticking with the 17's. They look pretty good to me!

I'm getting 18's on my up and coming XR8. A step up from my AU and as well as that, no bloody Commy SS driver is going to have anything over me.

I've got 17's on my current car, I know how much the rubber costs (had to replace the SP9000's recently) and don't even want to think about the increase of 18's over 17's.

The 18's look great, but tyres are expensive. Around $2k to replace the originals, and somewhere around $1500 for a good alternative.

Worth it to me!!

Don't like the 17 but the 18s are very nice. They get my vote

The 18's look a little nicer but for the extra up front cost and ongoing costs NO THANKS.. Definately NOT worth it IMO.

To tell the truth i quite like the design of the 17's over the 18's.. i think they look pretty damn good.
