Daves stock bottom end BA ran low 10 second runs consistently, and I'm pretty sure even ran a few 9s runs too. This all with well over 400rwkw. I asked him to make it fast but not make it go BANG, and Dave seems to think this will hold up. We didn't do the valve springs, so I'd be hoping we'll experience valve float before bending a rod...That said when you change a car away from stock 'ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE' and I'm well aware of ALL of the possibilities.Hence the daily driver 328rwkw tune

It's got me f*cked why I wrote that other than I may have been on another forum at the time and may have got my wires crossed. After dave checking the tune we're at 16psi across the rev range.The car is (was) running 16psi across the board, the wastegate held 16 beautifully (standard wastegate) but that was it's limit. In the next few weeks I will be pulling the motor down to check a few things and if the block is okay we'll chuck some tuff bits at it and a few grand and hopefully build a motor that dave can tune to be a reliable daily driver of 400rwkw.Looking at some forged pistons and rods, acl bearings, billet oil pump gears, race valve springs, PW surge tank, and wastegate mod. I've always tried to build the car beyond the power I'm running, just happens we had a problem this time, so I'd be looking to build a motor capeable of 450/500rwkw, and tuning it to 400... about the limit for the rest of the car, lol.
