I finally got up to see David from CPV Tuning today to get him to run an eye over my current tune and modify it to match up with my new (used) Process West street plenum kit I fitted. Moderately increasing boost from 16psi we managed to pull a very respectful 359.1rwkw or for the old folk 481.6hp

He didn't just change the tune to make more power, but changed the way the power comes on, and WOW, it pulls like a kid over a playboy now!

Again Daves service was awesome, and I feel a little more learned after him having talked me through the tune.

Cheers dave, another quality tune. :roflmbo::shocked:

Torque is actually down 50 or so Nm, but dave says this can be altered by how hard he jams the accelerator on on the dyno.

The motor is stock except for the injectors, still running standard valve springs. I have the x-force twin two and a half inch exhaust, 100cell cat, and 4 inch dumpy. Warlbro in-tank fuel pump, under battery cai, and process west street plenum kit, also have a 78deg thermostat, 2.5 inch hotside piping, xcal 3 flash tuner. Wow, that's a fair bit for a daily driver that my wife spends more time in than me.

We're at the limit of the actuator, and valve springs. So that's it for me, maybe apart from a swirl pot. Dave tuned it pretty close to Maximum potential, and then brought it back a smidge, that way it still has the 4 deg it can remove if it senses knock.

We have an agressive tune, the 359rwkw one, where boost comes in hard peaks around 20psi @ 3000/3200rpm, and backs down to a respectful 16psi... f*ck she pulls! This is for dyno days, and days I wanna have a play, so to speak. After I drive it on this tune for a couple of days I'll put it back to the 95ron tune, which is for 328rwkw. This just means that I wont be running the car on it's limit all the time.

20 psi is quite a bit of boost. Have fun trying to keep that in a straight line.

All depends on how you want it to perform at the end of the day.

Depending on the car( Phoon/T) and year of manufacture 13 PSI is the most they leave the factory with.

BAs T's left the factory with only 6 PSI
