New Plazmaman Fg Intercooler

Well guys the result are in and I must say they are very impressive.

The car pulled 309rwkw on Powertorques conservative dyno and feels very strong on the road.

Throtle response is great and fuel economy is already improved.

To put the power figure in perspective another FG, a manual XR6T recently modified and tuned at Powertorque produced 319rwkw with the following mods:

3.5 inch turbo back exhaust of unknown origin (I think XForce maybe?)

Process west intercooler.

Blue power air box

Modified BFII turbo.

I post these part names not to have a dig at any of teh parts that were not used on my car but to give you all some indication of how conservative Powertorques dyno reads as the manual XR6T would easily have gone 350+RWKW on other dynos and as the saying goes you dont race dynos and cars from Powertorque regularly go faster at the drags with noticably lower dyno readouts than others.

All I can say is You bloody beauty!

The g6ET is a rocket now!

what is your list of mods (is it only the cooler and custom tune ?!?!). Also if not a rude question, what sort of dollars are you talking for the cooler ?

The other mods for performance were the Blue power racing air box and the 3.5 inch Exhaust innovations custom stainless system with split dump pipe and 5 inch bodied 100cpi cat.

Price wise you'll get change from $600 for the air box, and if you call Karl from HIRO he can get you the best price on the cooler and advise on the exhaust as well.

Ok so I finaaly got some pics of the cooler for you guys to look at.

Appologies for the terrible pics though they turned out shocking. I'll get some better ones asap but you'll get the idea.

it's thick but it fits well (very minimal cutting required)
