That sounds pretty good... ipones cam is lame.

Nah no FM radio, but one thing Ive started doingis streaming US and UK radio stations in the car, gobbles up mb's but I hardly use them.

I usually get a solid day out of the battery if I dont plug into the car... the itunes is what gobbles power, so I plug in for that.

I have a HTC Touch Pro2 which is the best business smartphone on the market PERIOD.

iPhones have their place in the world, but like most things Apple, they do things differently and their users are a bit weird.

I can supply both phones to my clients, but everyone who chose the iPhone have swapped them for HTC Windows mobiles. They give the iPhones to the kids and then everyone is happy.

An iPhone is a gimmikey games machine that is an average phone.

Yeah I don't need my phone as a full-fledged business tool at the moment (that'll happen in about 3 years!) so for now the N97 will do it.

I'm a bit 'young' to go with the BlackBerry or HTC (coming from the guy in the G6ET!)

:spoton:

That's gold.

Apple fans are definitely a passionate bunch. I really couldn’t give a rat’s arse about what people think about the phone that I use, but rubbish an iPhone (or an iAnything) and get ready for the onslaught. It’s absolutely bloody hilarious.

I wonder if John Travolta and Tom Cruise have them - might explain a lot.

Perhaps they (the iPhone) are a tool of the Church of Scientology!

I'm pretty anti apple but I caved in and got a 3GS. It might not do everything and there are some things like the lack of a counter on SMS that sh*t me but overall as a phone and mobile entertainment device it works pretty well for me. I only use limited email functions but what I do works well enough synching with an exchange server.

The biggest benefit to the iphone is that it does most things easily without too much stuffing around. Want an app? use the app store. Want music? use it like an ipod, etc.. Its all about what you expect out of it. I work in IT and have had windows mobile based phones before but I can't be bothered screwing around with them outside of work so for that reason the iphone works for me. I considered an N97 but they were/are more expensive.

I was also anti-apple however I caved when I got the FG and got an ipod for the stereo - then by offer after a dodgy phone got free upgrade to iphone, they are annoying in parts however I love the massive screen and nice little things here and there. Never have any issues (touch wood) and get at least 2 - 3 days out of the charge? Still hate the way apple restricts things...

I had the 1st gen iphone, before they were released in australia and 10 million sheep bought them. I dropped it at the start of the year and got no help with fixing what was fixable. Made my ipodtouch seem like a waste of money.

I then upgraded to a blackberry bold and its much better. Might not have the apworld yet but its much better quality.

In fact I'm using it as I type!!
