hi guys

I was just reading on another thread about someone loosing traction at 140kph with 320kWs. I'm about to get a tune hopefully to around this number and was wondering what to expect. I know there are many variables (tyres, suspension, weather, road surface, etc) but just want to hear what people have experienced. not really interested in quarter mile times just general road driving stories.

ie in gear acceleration, and traction issues/suprises.

cheers :stupid:

I have 335rwkw and mine spins first three gears (manual) but I dont think it would loose traction at 140.

I believe in the other thread where you read that, they were talking about loosing traction in the wet at that speed. It is very possible to loose traction at that speed in the wet with that power.

1st and 2nd gears you could fry the tyres at will, 3rd gear I had traction.

yeah we had 20mm rain and thunderstorms today.....

I think youd need 600rwkw to lose traction in the dry at that speed.

In first and second it pretty much smokes, in third it breaks for a bit then grabs traction. also depends on the road, In Cairns our road's are pretty crappy so it could be different elsewhere.

its no worries to hit 140 if you start with your wheels spinning but to actually lose traction at 140kph it needs serious balls or really really crap bald tyres.
