breaking the law by letting sum 1 test drive a car they r going to buy

rules were different when we got our licenses here

How is it not breaking the law? An Bogan special isn't legal for P platers, yeah? Again, that's the deal in VIC... not sure how things work in your state.

A person does not need to own/register a car to be illegal driving it.

What's the deal with mods removing quotes?? How else we supposed to direct questions on the open forum?

If you reply to the post directly above yours you don't need to quote - if its 2,3 or 4+ posts previous, no problem, quote away...

our qld laws have only changed in the last year or so, if a person already had p plates before the law change they are still allowed to drive turbos and v8s, but with the new law, new p plater's can not drive them

Ah OK. In VIC its been illegal for P platers to drive turbos or V8s for a long, long time. I'm glad the law has changed, the thought of a learner driver

setting foot inside an XR6T for their first car is irresponsible to say the least. Some of the d|ck head P plate drivers I see getting around would

without doubt come unstuck in such a powerful car.

cannot believe I am defending car salesman scum. But the analogy of soemone who walks in and does not negotiate is either weak and stupid or is happy to pay the price as advertised. Neither is the salesmans fault.

Scotty

:stupid: Salesman are there to sell sh*t, if a wood duck walks in there almost expected to take them for a ride.

Moral of the story, don't be a wood duck.

Oh and before anyone points it out I'll put my hand up, yes I was a wood duck.
