ill post up some pics when I fit the under battery cai there is just a pod straight off the turbo at the moment and its a bit dodgy lol. Yeah its a tranny cooler you can see through the top grill

cheers

Did you have to cut anything to fit that bad boy? I've heard that you need to skim a bit off the rails to get it to sit up, otherwise you can't fit the stone guard back on underneath....

and also bastardize the air con pipe?

Hey yeah u have to cut about 10mm either side to get it up a bit higher and bend the aircon line up only say 50mm max it's quite easy.

Should b getting a retune soon will baby it until I do.

you have to cut the lip off the reo bar and they also hang mega low.

this is probably a stupid question but im new the the whole xr6t thing, once you put a new intercooler and cai, do you have to get it tuned or will it run sweet as is? Im really interested with the kit off ebay looks and sounds good

#18

Yes you will need a retune, as the intercooler will be flowing a lot better than the stocker, and at a stab it will be overboosting if it doesnt get tuned.

#19

Ahhhh I see, and how much would a rough estimate be for a tune if a got a intercooler kit

This isn't necessarily gospel though - at best you should fit the cooler and then throw the car on a dyno and check the AFRs to make sure it isn't leaning out as mickus said
