Yeah mate, 6boosts got the car to design a manifold to fit the factory turbo for me.

Got this pic:

Its a single entry low mount. Its off to be ceramic coated then they will conduct some testing on it.

Will have more info and pics of it when I pick the car up.

Few more tricks to be done to the turbo and some Atomic stage 4 cams and head studs before its back in my hands.

Did I mention theres a turbo up for sale Ryan??

Wow that is fuggen awesome. I enquired with either ETM or 6boost yonks ago (can't remember which one) about a spaghetti manifold for a low mount factory position and the reply was that it was impractical and something that couldn't really be done. But it looks like it has and did I say wow! If it works out OK I'm assuming 6Boost will offer it to anyone? Where's the gate pipe going, off the turbine housing? That's going to look like car porn when ceramic coated.

Well as most are aware, my car has been at 6boost with the intention of upgrading the front housing and wheel up to T04Z specs.

Well, I got side tracked and made a small purchase (2 actually!)

Ive ended up buying a GT4202 on a 6boost low mount and 60mm gate. Also ended up buying a GT4094. Now have to decide which one to keep. One will be up for sale if anyone is interested. The 42 is 100km's old and the 40 has done under 5,000kms.

Intention will be to mount one of the two in the next week. We wont be building the motor for another couple of months and are taking bets on which rod will be shot out the side of the block. Place your bets.

Should have some results soon.

We will still be doing the mods to the stock turbo as intended. This will now find a home along with the 6boost FG standard mount manifold on Bens (XYZ) FG F6. The results from the manifold so far have been very good. As the F6 turbo was already at its limits, we have seen the same power from 2psi less. Very efficient.

Only 1 more week to wait till I get the car back, and I cant wait.

After speaking with Kyle we decided to buy a GTX42. Have also had a high mount made for it. 6boost will make some changes to the dump pipe and plump in the gate. Went with the GTX42 instead of running the GT42 as I couldnt say no to the price. It wont give us much benefit until we build the motor but it will be worth while in the long run.

Just ordered some plates, GTX42 which will go on the car once its back.

Im hoping we will have on our hands the most powerful FG to still retain the stock bottom end in the country.

I believe that title is held by the boys at C&V with 448rwkw's just pipping Shanan from VIC. I could be wrong so if anyone else has a leader, let me know.

Can't wait to see some pics mate. So is the low mount still going to be tested on something. I volunteer! If they are looking for a test mule mate I would love to see that piece of automitve porn in my engine bay. Even the miss us reckons it's sexy
