Russ and any others with big power lookin to do this...

Speak with your tuner before ya go replacing what you have.

Some tuners replace the thermostat when doing a custom tune... Others may not.

So just check to see if it hasnt already been done, otherwise your wasting time and money.

If not, go for it!

Also bear in mind that your heater will not work properly. It will never as warm as it used to be.

Ho much coolant is supposed to come out when you take off the thermostat? Mine just streams out had to put it back on otherwise there would have been 9lts of coolant on my garage floor :innocent:

I haven't driven the car for over a week so there should be no pressure. I worked it out, had to squeeze the large pipe that goes into the thermostat a few times and get all the coolant out. Lost around 1ltr on the ground but lucky I had a spare bottle of Ford coolant in the garage so all is good.

dont you need to go back to your tuner to get the fan settings changed :spoton:
