They are MASSIVE. Extra braking can never hurt and you now know you can jump on them ANYTIME and they will always pull you up.

Just be careful with whos behind you though.

I thought people were saying due to the ESP you couldn't change brakes on the FG's?

Cant see why! FG XR6 and F6 all have the same brake system the exception being the caliper, the hose off the calipers and rotors. everything else is the same and Im sure if it interfered with the mechanics and electronics of the car the conversion would be deemed illegal and sellers and installers would not be allowed to modify the braking system by law. I did ask Matt from Race Brakes Sydney if there was a problem with the conversion and his reply was that the only problems they have had was customers getting the right wheels.

I think its just a myth. there's a sensor on the back of the hub.. might be ABS though.

ive been running brembos (6/4 combo) for a bit now, no issues at all.

geobar. they DON'T fit... the 4pots foul on the 19" FG XR rims so the 6pots will too

You could be on to something there.

The supposed reason behind the BF FPVs not getting DSC was because they were too tight to recalibrate the programming for the bigger brakes :gaypost:
