How in any way shape or form is it better then an F6?

Because it's the best car built by Ford. FPV is considered a different manufacturer (same as Expensive Daewoo and HSV).

Also, the G6E is a hi-po luxury model, the FPV is a sports model (different market segments).

Journos will rarely say a sports model is the best, as it has smaller market appeal than the luxo models.
