Two years ago went to the trots which was great for the blokes; lots of beer to drink, lots of birds to look at, lots of good bands to listen to (someone said there was some horses around somewhere too )Last year went to Burswood Hotel/Casino into their newly launched restaurant, paid about $150 for 7-1am endless beer/wine/softies with a couple of cocktails throughout (amstel and kirin beer, good vino and good bubbles, good cocktails) was great serivce, everyone was dressed to the nines, really good food too, best night out I've had in years. Trouble is, they've upped the price this year to $220, which would still would be worth every penny, but is a little harsh. So, What's everyone doing for new years this year? Out for dinner and drinks?Stay at home and have a glass of bubbly with dinner?Getting written off before 11pm and waking up in the morning from what you thought was a dream?Going to a restaurant for dinner/drinks package to midnight?Thoughts and advice welcome!CheersDanPS: Random comments also welcome!
