It sounds like a diff clunk, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Possibly diff bush, auto could need some TLC too. If you can (in a safe and quiet area), try and put it in manual mode in 1st and hop on and off the gas to get the car lurching back and forth, this may show up the problem too if something is loose

Its the big mutha dead centre and wears out in many instances every 15,000Klms. The alternate FF site has a big write up on this one but would appear to be consistent with the prob you have.Good luck

Flick it over to sports auto and do the same and CLUNK! right between the gear change. This kind of makes me lean toward an auto issue, but I'm not sure why that'd throw down a clunk in the rear (and only the rear). Is there anyone I can take the car to for a quick check up to diagnose, or is it harder than that.
